The CLSU-ERDT Program is now accepting scholarship applications for the First Semester of AY 2026–2027 from March 3 to April 15, 2026. Application details and forms are available at clsu-erdt.com under the “How to Apply” tab. Graduate-level admissions will be processed through the CLSU College of Admissions, and applicants must complete admission requirements alongside their scholarship application. For initial evaluation, scanned copies of applications may be submitted pending the issuance of the Notice of Admission; however, applicants must ensure that their graduate-level admission is already in process before the scheduled screening interview.

All ongoing DOST-SEI graduate scholars are now covered under a Group Personal Accident with Health Insurance from Fortune General Insurance Corporation, effective January 26, 2026 to January 26, 2027. Benefits include accident death and disablement up to ₱1,000,000, accidental medical reimbursement up to ₱100,000, daily hospital cash assistance, fire and ambulance support, as well as inpatient health benefits covering room and board, hospital services, doctor’s fees, and medicine expenses. Claims must be filed within 30 days of accident or confinement, with required documents and project leader endorsement if applicable.

The College of Engineering (CEN) at Central Luzon State University (CLSU), through the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (DABE), will hold the Graduate Students’ General Assembly and Orientation on February 26, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the DABE Hall, College of Engineering.
Although the semester began last December, this mid-semester orientation provides graduate students—especially ERDT scholars—with updates on academic policies, program requirements, and opportunities for collaboration with faculty and peers. The event underscores CLSU’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and community engagement.

We are delighted to announce the outstanding achievement of Mr. Christian Jay A. Lucas, an ERDT scholar from Central Luzon State University (CLSU), who brought honor to both his scholarship program and his institution at the 10th International Conference on Green Energy and Applications (ICGEA 2026) held in Hanoi, Vietnam on March 6–8, 2026. Supported by his ERDT scholarship, Mr. Lucas presented his research “Corn Stover to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF): A Life Cycle and Techno-Economic Analysis in the Philippines (EA-215-A)”, which explores innovative pathways for utilizing agricultural residues to advance sustainable aviation fuel production. His presentation stood out and earned him the prestigious Certificate of Best Presentation, a recognition of his academic excellence, clarity of delivery, and the global relevance of his work. This accomplishment highlights the ERDT’s commitment to empowering Filipino scholars to contribute to international scientific discourse, while also showcasing CLSU’s strong role in advancing research and innovation in renewable energy and sustainable development.

We are proud to share that three ERDT scholars from the MS in Agricultural Engineering program will be representing our institution at the Innovation Congress & International Research Conference on Pharmaceutical and Allied Sciences (ICON-IRCPAS 3.0), jointly organized by APCORE and UCSI University, on March 26–28, 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Alliah Nicole D. Caraang, Juvieth C. Laddaran, and Val A.
